Project creators

A project is the main workspace for instructions, tags, submission rules, collaborators, and storage choices.

Create a project

  1. Select “Create project”.
  2. Enter the project name, owner information, contact details, and description.
  3. Set the opening period and submission time range.
  4. Define file descriptions, format limits, and size limits.
  5. Save and confirm that the project is available.

Configure submission rules

  1. Open submission settings in the project editor.
  2. Choose whether public submissions are allowed and whether submitters must sign in.
  3. Add a password or other protection only when it supports the project workflow.
  4. Configure file tags, version rules, and naming combinations.
  5. Preview the submission page before publishing it.

Design tags and names

  1. Create the ordinary tags that the project will use over time.
  2. Group related tags to reduce choices for submitters.
  3. Mark required, internal, private, and user-entered fields according to their purpose.
  4. Preview the resulting name for creators, collaborators, and submitters.
  5. Test with a sample file before opening the project publicly.

Confirm the result

  • The project list shows the expected status and basic information.
  • The public submission page matches the instructions and limits.
  • Files can be found through the project’s tag and version rules.
